HTIR Visa Course

 

You are required to take the HTIR Visa Course before HTIR admissions will release your I-20. The course is designed to give you experience of what to expect in the actual visa interview. The instructor of the course is a US immigration attorney who has been consulting students for the last 20 years. He has traveled around the world and has met with visa officials in the consulate offices, so he is familiar with what the visa officers generally are looking for.  This course is not easy to pass, just as it is not easy to be granted a visa.    You will need to read all the material, do all the assignments and take all of the exams.  The final exam is with the attorney and is basically a mock visa interview.   You will be allowed to take the exam as many times ad needed in order to pass.  Once you pass it means the attorney is confident that you have a good enough knowledge of the material and is confident that you will do well in the visa interview.
